Hot Air Oven – Introduction

Imperial Biotech’s Hot Air Oven is a reliable laboratory sterilization instrument designed for a wide range of applications across pharmaceutical, chemical, healthcare, and laboratory environments. It uses dry heat sterilization technology for effective sterilization of suitable instruments, glassware, and other heat-resistant materials.

The unit features a robust triple-walled construction that provides effective thermal insulation, operational stability, and quiet performance. Dry heat sterilization is particularly suitable for metal instruments and materials that may rust, corrode, or become dull when exposed to moisture or water vapour.

A thermostatic temperature control system maintains the required chamber temperature for the specified sterilization period, while an air circulation fan ensures uniform distribution of heat throughout the chamber. Unlike steam-based sterilization systems, the Hot Air Oven does not require water or pressure build-up, making it a convenient and practical solution for routine dry heat sterilization applications in hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, chemical industries, and laboratories.
