The range includes Class II Type A2 and Class II Type B2 configurations, offering different levels of personnel, product, and environmental protection according to application requirements.

The Class II Type A2 Biosafety Cabinet incorporates an advanced airflow management system that draws room air through the front grille and creates a protective air barrier at the work opening. The inward airflow helps prevent potentially hazardous aerosols from escaping the cabinet and provides effective personnel protection. These cabinets are suitable for a wide range of routine biological applications involving Biosafety Levels 1, 2, and 3.

Class II Type A2 cabinets typically recirculate approximately 70% of the air within the cabinet through HEPA filtration, while approximately 30% is exhausted after filtration. This configuration provides personnel, product, and environmental protection and is suitable for general microbiological and biological laboratory work.

Class II Type B2 Biosafety Cabinets are designed for applications requiring 100% exhaust of cabinet air to the outside through appropriate HEPA filtration. They provide personnel, product, and environmental protection and are intended for work involving hazardous materials, including applications where volatile toxic chemicals or radionuclides may be used, subject to appropriate facility and installation requirements.
